ABOUT THE POEM: Chapter 66, Volume Button, functions as a manifesto against moderation, misinterpretation, and domestication of lived truth. It is not an invitation, argument, or plea—it is a recorded state of being. The speaker rejects the expectation that philosophy should comfort, persuade, or entertain. Instead, philosophy here is treated as labor: observation, diagnosis, and documentation of existence as it is endured. The recurring image of the “roar” without a volume button signals resistance to social calibration. Society demands adjustable voices—louder when praised, quieter when inconvenient. This chapter refuses that economy. Boredom, offense, or irritation are framed as the reader’s responsibility, not the writer’s failure. Meaning is not optimized for reception. Accusations such as misogyny are addressed not defensively but ontologically. By collapsing distinctions—man and woman, god and star—the text denies hierarchical categorization altogether. This is not moral equivalence but perceptual flattening: an insistence that meaning does not arise from labels but from direct encounter. Identity categories dissolve under scrutiny because they do no real explanatory work. Fire without light becomes a central metaphor: endurance without transcendence. The author rejects redemption arcs, enlightenment narratives, and promised clarity. Thirty years of heat signifies sustained intensity without payoff. This is not despair; it is accounting. The heart is acknowledged as both prison and instrument—inescapable, unreliable, yet non-optional. The chapter also establishes distance. Calling out others is framed as incidental, not personal. Intimacy is not assumed. Authority does not come from virtue, character, or moral superiority but from sustained exposure to conditions most prefer to theorize about from safety. Science and technology are named as cushions—real achievements, but insufficient for addressing existential irritation. Human rights, character, and shared moral frameworks are rejected not as false but as incompatible. The speaker positions himself as misfitted to systems designed for consensus humans. This is not a call for reform; it is a declaration of non-alignment. Repetition is justified as record-keeping, not persuasion. The text exists for the author first. Readers are free to engage, test, or walk away. There is no compromise because compromise implies negotiation, and this position is not negotiable—it is observed. The chapter ends without resolution. Walking replaces arriving. Motion replaces meaning. Philosophy here is not a ladder upward but a footprint left on ground that may not exist.

Ronie Dinosaur Chapter 66 – Volume Button

I am not selling capsules or pills for immortality.
I am doing my job.
I am a philosopher.

I do not want a volume button for my roar.
If you find me boring, feel free to leave.
I am Ronie Dinosaur.

Some words here are labeled misogynistic.
Let me say this plainly:
in my sight, there is no fundamental difference-
dog or cat,
woman or man,
god, moon, or star.

Even if you have no ground to stand on,
it changes nothing.

Because I am not doing what they do.
It is that simple.

There is a fire in my heart
you cannot grow by yourself.
For three decades it has burned,
but there is no light-
only heat.

I was cheated for being too naïve,
again and again.
The heart is trapped,
and it is itself the cage.

If you crossed my path
and were called out,
perhaps something in that crossing
warranted it.

This was never personal.
If I am not close to you,
do not take it personally.

This is not arrogance,
nor a psychological defect to be cured.
Each time I test the authenticity of this world,
it confirms why the anger is justified.

I live it, diagnose it,
and record the findings.

I am no monk, no saint.
You already live cushioned by science and technology.
If something here still irritates you,
consult your scientist-
not a philosophical book.

A writer cannot speak
what he does not know.
Truth is lived first,
spoken second.

What is written here is that truth.
Consider it-or do not.

I think far beyond
where most of you even mark the location,
let alone arrive,
let alone judge someone like me.

Test my points of reference yourself,
or seek an academic philosopher
to explain what it means
to walk like Ronie Dinosaur-
to stand on two feet
where there is no ground,
no eye in the sky,
no arriving future,
no met past.

Do not imitate me.
Do not pretend.
It is seriously shameful
to be alive.

The only measure of a man-
his character-
is utterly useless.
And the heart knows this.
But it is not a spare part.

Yes, it is a better life-
but it offers nothing
beyond air, water, food.

Like a human,
I cannot claim human rights.
They are not built for me.
This is not a shared problem.
They are simply wrong for my condition.

This is not a movie.
It is lived experience in motion.

What I know,
I know daily.
That is why it repeats-
for my own record.

There will be no compromise with this position.
What has to happen will happen.
If it does not,
then nothing will.

I just walk.
