The opening lines retain a deliberately solar register. They speak in the language of anticipation, climax, and event: beginnings, mornings, applause, bangs. This reflects how consciousness naturally narrates moments of perceived transition. The mind expects recognition, resolution, or collapse. This expectation is not mocked or denied; it is acknowledged and then abandoned. What follows is a controlled shift. The poem becomes tectonic. Events stop arriving. Signals fail. It has already begun-
it just doesn’t seem like it now.

Soon it will appear as morning:
a day, a whole day,
following this.

I have read the patterns,

After the final applause,
I will end with a bang.

What follows is quieter.
No signal marks it.

This is existential engineering:
not the search for meaning,

There is a day-
the only variable still active.

Applause does not arrive.

I do not plan destruction.
I remove instability.

Revenge collapses
