Ronie Dinosaur Chapter 6 - Consciousness and Character
Consciousness-the thing that does not want to die-has nothing to do with the experiences my body, mind, and heart have to bear. It cannot be shaped. It only has one hunger: to go on and on and on. Your core self, the soul, the one that is aware, is fundamentally separate from the physical body, the logical mind, and the emotional heart. This creates a profound separation: the “you” who suffered in those relationships, who lost those moments, is not the same as the “you” who is aware of that suffering. The body, mind, and heart may be broken and scarred, but consciousness remains untouched and unshaped. It simply observes. Its only true desire is to continue. There are three entities, if you want to call them that: 1. The body - which has senses. Read more from here...Eureka
